CAD Pilot Nexus: AutoCAD® Civil 3D®
2008 - Intermediate Intersection Design 201 |
This Intermediate class will teach
students how to create typical intersections using corridor
modeling in AutoCAD® Civil 3D®. This class steps you through the
basics of intersection creation using multiple alignments and
assemblies. Students will learn how to create regions in the
corridor to accomplish simple intersection design.
This is a prerequisite for Intermediate Intersection Design 202.

2008 - Intermediate Intersection Design 202 |
Intermediate students will continue
the Intersection Design class from the previous week. NOTE: You
must view Intermediate Intersection Design 201 before
registering for this class.
In this session you will go more in depth into intersection
design by using specialized assemblies to perform cross flows
through the intersection or flow around the curb return. This
class builds upon the intersection design process learned in the
previous class.
Prerequisite: Intermediate Intersection Design 201.

- Drawing Cleanup and Import/Export |
This class will introduce the
AutoCAD® Civil 3D® user to concepts and techniques for cleaning
up geometry and import/export data from other mapping
applications .
After completing this class you will be able to:
• Use drawing cleanup to fix errors in a drawing.
• Import an ArcView Shape files
• Export an Autodesk SDF file.
