Jerry:  This is a letter for a big and well-deserved Thank You to both Ted and your tech support dept.  I had a customer who needed a prompt answer and Ted and I have developed a relationship where he is able to contact me via email for any special information he may need.  The time had come for Ted to repay the favor and he did so with no questions asked.  He forwarded me to the tech that was able to answer a very simple question about AEC tools and it’s migration into the 2000 lineup. Since our entire product development team was at an offsite meeting, your tech was able to give me an answer that was able to make a very satisfied customer.  This is the type of teamwork that Autodesk has always envisioned and strive to maintain with our resellers and I think that CVIS has delivered this tenfold.  I wish all of your continued success and look forward to continued service and communications on both of our parts.

One of our clients, Dave, told another potential client that he had used the Technical Department 3 to 4 times and the service was excellent. He mentioned that he called in and left a message of what the problem was and that they got back to him within one hour, usually shorter. That clinched the sale. In speaking with Dave today, he mentioned the problems he used to have with files before the upgrade. Now he doesn’t have those problems. It convinced Booker.  They upgraded all five seats that they are running.  KUDOS for the tech department. They have helped close a sale again.

Mr. Thompson:  We first became involved with CVIS though contacts in Houston last fall.  Even though they are not extremely local, we have already had success with them in terms of information, support and availability.  We have had trouble in the past developing a relationship with vendors in our area, either due to poor service, or because the firms went out of business or discontinued handling Autodesk products.  Since coming on board with CVIS, I have had several occasions to contact the Help Desk, and each time the problems were resolved in a very timely manner.  The on-line ticket submission is a definite plus! CVIS was eager to help and it has worked out well for us.

After careful review of your proposals, presentations, and references, we have selected CVIS to serve as the AutoDesk VAR for the I&T West Coast. 

We were quite impressed with the technical expertise of both organizations and appreciate your participation in our selection process. The key deciding factors for us were size of organization, extent of product support, and extent of purchase commitments.

Our West Coast CAD operations are extensive. This year and in the future we hope to augment our own IS technical support with that of a VAR. Breadth of coverage, initiative in meeting our needs, and significant savings are very important to our business.

I want to take a few minutes to express what a pleasure it is t have Ted as our Sales Representative.  Ted always goes the extra mile for us when we purchase new software or upgrades to our existing licenses.  Ted also calls before any price increases which saves us money. In today’s market it’s hard to find sales representatives that take care of their customers this well.

My company had been dealing with this issue for several months now, without a solution.  A separate design department had upgraded to DE 2.1 and AutoCAD 2000, before we did.  They went through the whole process of trying to resolve this problem without success, for a long time.  They ended up using an alternative, working in AutoCAD R14, since no solution could be found.  Meanwhile, our department began the process of testing the DE2.1 software.  That release of DE 2.1 was full of bugs and errors.  We had several offices that initially installed the software, downgrade back to the previous release.  The company that creates  DE, immediately worked to fix all of this with the proposed release of DE2.2. About a couple of weeks ago, we began testing the DE 2.2 software.  It was such a substantial improvement that the distribution of the software to the other offices was approved.  (That was scheduled to begin this week.)  A couple of days later, other offices were calling to report that they were experiencing the same problem.  What is amazing is that in one day you were able to find the answer to what has been an issue with us for so long.  Now we are able to recover valuable drawing files that would have been costly and time consuming to recreate.
